There aren’t many Skippers left but I’m glad this one is still around. It’s always been one of the best! Anytime I’m anywhere near this location I try and stop here. I don’t ever want to see this place closed for good! I always get the Skippers Platter combo which comes with fish, shrimp, clams, fries, coleslaw, clam chowder, and a drink. It’s always cooked fresh and delicious! It’s big enough to share with someone but if you’re hungry then it’s a nice little seafood feast. Shout out to the workers here, too. They’re always fast and friendly and we love to see that!

Had dinner here tonight & it had been awhile since we’d been here. Service was unbelievable! One young guy in particular who was on top of everything & extremely polite. We both had fish & chips with chowder. Both very good, loved the chowder!

The fish here is crispy and delicious, and so are the fried. Atmosphere is like old school Puyallup. The people here are amazingly friendly. Prepare to come here often. The prices are pretty reasonable, consiall that you get.

The service was fast and friendly. I got my food served right to my table in less than 5 minutes. I ordered the lunch special: 2 fish, chips, chowder, cole slaw, and a drink for under 13. I didn't need a fork for the fish because they were easy to hold and dip with my fingers. The fish was flaky, hot, and delicious. I was allowed to have as much tarter as I want. I ate that bowl of chowder like it was ice cream. The atmosphere was comfortable and not too busy. There was relaxing music in the background. Probably will go again next week to try the grilled salmon.

Y'all want the truth about Skippers? My only complaint are their spoons. They'll cut up the side of your lips after a couple bites, but man, the food is dynamite! Me and my old man bought 2 #2's for 16.99 each that come with three battered fish pucks, fries, a cup of chowder, a 16 oz drink, and coleslaw. We had to wait about fifteen minutes, but hey, you've gotta wait if you want quality fresh food. The fish came out hot and was crispy and flavorful, the fries were crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, the slaw was surprisingly delicious with a sweet and savory flavor, but let's talk about the chowder for a moment. I describe it as more of a "clam gravy" more than chowder, but I licked my bowl clean it was so good. Also, dipping the fries and fish in the chowder is a complete game changer, I do recommend, but don't shy away from their tarter sauce which is genuinely some of the best tarter sauce I've had at a seafood joint up here. If you see a Skippers in your area or if you're just passing through and come across them on the map, I promise you won't regret stopping. The service is friendly and welcoming, the food is a hit, and the prices are fairly reasonable too. Great job, guys

There are only a few stores left, this one in Puyallup was very nostalgic for me. And the fish and shrimp are as tasty as I remember when from the past when the restaurants were more readily available. Just one issue, the clam chowder tasted out of the pack and not enough milk or cream was added. Other than that, the food, and the two young gentlemen behind the counter were super helpful! Can't wait to return again, especially in Tuesday for their all-you-can-eat special!

Been going there for over 35 years. It's always been good food, but for about the last 5-7 years we see the same smiling faces and the place is practically spotless. Tall, dark hair dude been there a long time is always cool. My husband and I really appreciate the good service, especially since eating out is so expensive now days.
